Last week was a bad one. I knew it would be when Jane Fonda came on “The View” and started talking about her yang. Yang, I believe, is a Chinese four letter word that has the same number of letters in English but is spelled with a “C”. Yang is the female counterpart to the yin in oriental theosophy. When the two are in equilibrium, they say, nature flows in harmony. Apparently the yin and yang are way, way out of equilibrium right now. It seems that the yang has put on a tremendous amount of weight and the world is on the verge of wobbling right off its axis.
Thing about it is that just about 40 years ago I thought the world was in a real nice balance. Then I had Barbarella on the silver screen floating in zero gravity in the perfect image of femininity, half naked and completely empty headed. It was only about a year later that she put on an NVA uniform and had her picture taken sitting on an A/A battery pretending to shoot at her own country’s aircraft. When she came on “The View” last week, clearly suffering the full effects of gravity and dragging her forlorn yang, the last vestige of a young man’s fantasy was shattered. Only the empty headed part proved to ever have been real.
Now I’m not at all versed in oriental theosophy but it seems that a lot of weirdo Leftists are drawn to it. It came up in a different issue last week when a certain eunuch from Berkley, CA made the statement; ‘That Marine recruiting office is bringing terrible karma to our town.’ (Dear God. Please make the pain go away. Water board me till I can’t think about it.) This couldn’t possibly have been said by just another ordinary Berkley professor. He had to have been the dean. Why do parents spend huge amounts of money to have their children indoctrinated by these yangsters?
Then came the real tragedy of the week, the NIU murders; a horror too ugly to make light of. I hesitate to politicize it but how will such evil ever be stopped when the yangsters will not permit rational analysis of its causes? Political correctness will not allow it. When are we going to stop putting the decision making responsibility in their hands in the first place? They are utterly, hopelessly incapable of earthbound reasoning. It must be true since they send their own children out into the world totally unequipped to face evil or even to conceive of its existence.
Those were the low point events of the week but in the background the media droned on about the minutia of the upcoming Presidential election. How pathetic. How depressing. We’re down to three choices. From the Dems we get a choice of a yang or a eunuch. From the Repubs we get a yin-used-to-be. Sure, you can write me off as a bigoted white man if you’re a Lefty but the fact is that I do not care in the least what sex or race my next President is – that’s your issue. Mine is to have a rational leader who will do what’s right. Not what makes his/her yang feel good and not what is politically expedient. I want a person who will bring the yin/yang back into balance. As it stands now the West has so diminished the male libido that the yin is no longer a thing. It’s a question (Y’in)?

It is a horrible comment on the level of intelligence in the U.S. that there could even be a single citizen thinking about voting for the wife of the most amoral man ever to hold the office of presidency. Had it not been for the fact that Obama is runing it would have been an absolute certainty that she'd have won the office. So, we'll have Barrack instead and a black racist will be no bargain either.

Jane is not evil, just empty headed and passionate. Bad combination. I knew her briefly in ballet school in around 1959-60 before she developed her star persona. My yang is drooping too. :)
